How to use it
- Load one or more photos (colour is fine: pick a B&W filter to choose how colours turn into greys) and start from a preset, tweaking while you watch the cyanotype preview. Each photo keeps its own settings. Cyanotype has a short tonal range, so a bit of extra contrast and lifted midtones usually help.
- Switch to “Negative” and download it. Print it on inkjet transparency film at the size of your paper, as dense as your printer allows.
- Keep “Mirror” on so the printed side touches the coated paper — the image ends up the right way round and sharper.
- Sandwich negative and paper under glass, expose to the sun (or UV), rinse in water and let the blue come out.
